Fund Raisers:
Mora Dollars for Scholars largest fund raising event, the Phon-a-thon, will take place on March 16th, 22nd and 23rd of 2010. If we don't catch you at home be sure to check out the local paper for a donation form or feel free to contact us. We certainly don't want to miss anyone.
"Bids for Kids" basket silent auction will kick off November 27th, 2009 during Moonlight Madness and run for two weeks. Greater Minnesota Credit Union, Kanabec State Bank and Peoples National Bank will display an array of themed baskets for all to bid on. This is a great opportunity to start your Christmas shopping for that special someone, while at the same time make a donation to our kids.
Mora Dollars for Scholars is also present at many high school athletic events featuring our new Hacky Sack Toss. A fun little fundraiser established not only to raise funds, but also to promote and answer questions about our Mora Dollars for Scholars Chapter. Come give it a try and see if you can make the perfect toss. You might just be the lucky winner of an Emma's Pizza, Peoples National Bank cooler, Kanabec State Bank piggy bank, Steve's World gift certificate, ACE Hardware gift certificate or you may win lunch at the Springbrook Golf Course, Subway, Bread N Honey Pantry, or the Downtown Deli. The fun starts on Friday December 4th during half-time of the Mora Girls Basketball game.
